Come fly with me!

Come fly with me is a journey that I thought was about learning more about my work with some of my favorite birds the crane and swallow. However, it is also about learning how to transition from being at home “sheltering in place” to exhibiting, showing, and sharing my work. My jewelry is my story. Come Fly with Me is an invitation to witness my story. We all have had the challenge of sheltering in place so each person may recognize aspects of my challenge this was one way I choose to address it.

I appreciate being in this show with Barbara Kelley. She and I have shown together in previous Dolphin shows as well as she hosting me at her Sea Ranch home for the North Coast Artist guild “Studio Tour” for nine years.

It was good to have this time to create and think about what it means to come and fly with me.

The journey was to learn how to work with the big changes and to figure out how to fly.
