April 3 @ 10:00 am - April 26 @ 4:00 pm
The Point Arena Light Station was established on September 30, 1869 and the original tower was first lit on May 1, 1870. 2020 represents the 150th anniversary of the Point Arena Lighthouse lighting the way on the coast. This exhibit is intended to celebrate this significant sesquicentennial of a Mendocino coast icon. The exhibit is open to all types of visual media, i.e. painting, photography, sculpture, fabric arts, ceramics, mixed media, jewelry, woodworking, etc. It will be an exhibit inspired by the Lighthouse and the coast that it protects and represents.
