2025 64th annual Anacortes Arts Festival August 1-3, 2025

The Anacortes Arts Festival is in its 64th year, hosting more than 220 booth artisans, producing a highly acclaimed fine art show, and averaging around 80,000 visitors during the first weekend in August.

Anacortes is located on breathtaking Fidalgo Island at the front of the San Juan Islands, in Northwest Washington. Our exciting Festival is a free event to the public and includes two stages of free entertainment daily, a beer garden, a wine bar, and a youth area which is dedicated space for kids and family activities.

We are so grateful and excited to be able to celebrate our 64th anniversary!  The 2025 Festival will be August 1-3.

The festival stretches down Commercial Ave from 10th Street all the way to 2nd Street.  Along that route, you’ll get to experience Booth Artisans, Main and Jazz Stages, two Beer and Wine Gardens, Food trucks and vendors, a Kids Discovery Area, Artists Demonstrating their craft,  AND Art at the Depot Fine Art Show.  And it’s free…

But wait, they have more offerings: The Nautical Treasure Hunt

he Anacortes Arts Festival and the Anacortes Chamber of Commerce are thrilled to announce the return of the 3rd Annual Nautical Treasure Hunt, taking place April 18 – 27, 2025. This unique event invites both locals and visitors to embark on a community-wide treasure hunt, exploring Anacortes’ vibrant local businesses and breathtaking natural surroundings.

Throughout the 10-day event, approximately 250 prize balls will be hidden in local businesses, parks, and public spaces. Lucky treasure hunters who discover a prize ball will receive a special nautical-themed art piece crafted by talented local artists. Prizes include beautifully designed whale tiles, sailboat prints, sea-inspired jewelry, and more.

This event is a fantastic way to unite the community, highlight local artists and businesses, and celebrate Anacortes’ deep maritime heritage. It’s an adventure that brings people together and encourages exploration of everything Anacortes has to offer.

Everyone is encouraged to join the hunt! Whether you’re a local resident, a visiting family, or a curious traveler, the Nautical Treasure Hunt is free and open to all. This event promises excitement, creativity, and a chance to take home a one-of-a-kind nautical treasure.
