DESCRIPTION:Barbara Kelley and Ling-Yen Jones present Come fly with me! \nBoth artists have shared exhibition space and found their work complements each other. \nPlease come see their journey into worlds of monotype prints\, encaustic painting\, and handmade jewelry. \nThis is an invitation to see their interpretation of literal and symbolic flight. \n  \nExhibition at the Dolphin 7-3-2020 to 7-26-2020 \nDolphin Gallery is located at:\nNew location 39114 Ocean Drive\, Cypress Village\n  \nOpen 10am – 5pm\nThurs-Mon (closed Tues & Wed.)\nCall (707) 884-3896\nfor more information.\nOur opening is Saturday\, July 4th from 10 am -7 pm at the Dolphin. I will be there at 3 -7 pm. \n  \nFreedom to explore works and images that are grounded and yet able to fly. \nI see a lot of birds as the ocean and want to explore the feeling of flying in my work. \nFlight is freeing\, evolving\, freedom to explore. Freedom to grow. Freedom to discover new possibilities. \nThe majestic and elegant crane. DESCRIPTION:Come fly with me!\nCome fly with me is a journey that I thought was about learning more about my work with some of my favorite birds the crane and swallow. However\, it is also about learning how to transition from being at home “sheltering in place” to exhibiting\, showing\, and sharing my work. My jewelry is my story. Come Fly with Me is an invitation to witness my story. We all have had the challenge of sheltering in place so each person may recognize aspects of my challenge this was one way I choose to address it. \nI appreciate being in this show with Barbara Kelley. She and I have shown together in previous Dolphin shows as well as she hosting me at her Sea Ranch home for the North Coast Artist guild “Studio Tour” for nine years. \nIt was good to have this time to create and think about what it means to come and fly with me. \nThe journey was to learn how to work with the big changes and to figure out how to fly. \nThank you for coming to see this show.
