DESCRIPTION:Art in the Park\, traditionally located in George Rogers Park\, is a juried booth show open to artists who produce original\, hand-made\, fine art and crafts. We welcome makers working in long standing traditions\, artists on the cutting edge of contemporary making\, and newly emerging artists of all stripes. \nJoin us in 2023 as we celebrate our 60th year showcasing talented and visionary artists of the Pacific Northwest and beyond! \nFounded in 1963\, The Lake Oswego Festival of the Arts is an annual arts education program of Lakewood Center for the Arts and is traditionally held at Lakewood Center and George Rogers Park in Lake Oswego\, Oregon. It is held the weekend after Father’s Day each year and attracts nearly 25\,000 people. In 2023\, we are excited to celebrate 60 years of art with great food\, music\, and expanded programming\, including several unique art exhibits at Lakewood Center for the Arts and George Rogers Park. \nDIRECTIONS TO GEORGE ROGERS PARK\nFrom WEST of Portland\nTake OR-26 EAST to OR-217 SOUTH. Continue on OR-217 about 6 miles\, as it crosses over I-5\, OR-217\nbecomes KRUSE WAY\, continue for 1.5 miles. Turn left onto BOONES FERRY RD and go 0.7 miles. Bear\nright onto COUNTRY CLUB RD and go 1.7 miles. Bear left onto A AVE and go 0.6 miles. Turn right onto\nSTATE ST and go 0.4 miles. Lakewood Center will be on the right. Turn left onto WILBUR ST at the light.\nDrive two blocks and turn right onto FURNACE ST. Drive two blocks and turn right onto GREEN ST on the\nsouth side of George Rogers Park.\nFrom EAST of Portland\nTake I-84 WEST to I-205 SOUTH\, go 5 miles. Take exit #8 towards WEST LINN/LAKE OSWEGO\, turn right at\nthe end of the off-ramp and go about 4.6 miles on ROUTE 43. Turn right on WILBUR ST at the light. Drive\ntwo blocks and turn right onto FURNACE ST. Drive two blocks and turn right onto GREEN ST on the south\nside of George Rogers Park.\nFrom NORTH of Portland\nTake I-5 SOUTH through PORTLAND. Take Exit #292 KRUSE WAY/OR-217. Turn left onto KRUSE WAY and\ncontinue for 1.5 miles. Turn left onto BOONES FERRY RD and go 0.7 miles. Bear right onto COUNTRY\nCLUB RD and go 1.7 miles. No overnight parking. If those spots are taken\, artists must park off-site at\nHallinan Elementary School.
