DESCRIPTION:Visit the 154 year old Light Station and enjoy the most unique experience on the Mendocino coast! Climb to the top of the 115′ tall Lighthouse Tower and enjoy spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean\, Manchester Beach and the Point Arena/Stornetta Unit of the California Coastal National Monument. Spend time learning the history and technology of the Light Station in the Fog Signal Building Museum\, and be awed by the Museum’s centerpiece – the original 1st Order Fresnel lens that lit the way in the Tower from 1908 through 1977. \nA Candle in the Wind \nScott Sewell is an award-winning landscape photographer specializing in Coastal California\, the High Sierra\, and travel photography. Drawn to the raw beauty of rocks\, waves\, clouds and their moods and textures\, he works in both in black & white\, in color and occasionally shoots urban subjects and people. A fourth-generation Californian with a deep love of the western outdoors and the photography of Ansel Adams\, he has spent the past decade exploring the Mendocino Coast and the Eastern Sierra in search of images. Whether on foot\, horseback or 4×4\, his intimate connection to the land informs his photography\, creating art that captures the spirit of these places. \nLing-Yen Jones is a highly regarded jewelry artist in the Northern California art community\, known for her expertly crafted designs in precious metals and semi-precious gemstones. Her collections feature an array of rings\, pendants\, brooches\, necklaces\, and earrings\, each reflecting her distinctive artistic vision. Many of her pieces incorporate elegant Oriental motifs\, adding a timeless and sophisticated touch that has become a hallmark of her work.

Ling-Yen designs will be in booth 610. \nDowntown Los Altos will host one of the largest two-day events in the Bay Area. The highly-rated Los Altos Arts & Wine Festival celebrates its 46th year and showcases the distinctive handcrafted works of 300 artists and craftspeople from more than a dozen states. The Festival also features select vintages from local wineries as well as a wide variety of foods including Thai\, Chinese\, Mexican\, All-American favorites like sausages\, hot links and roasted corn\, sweets of all kinds\, and more. Please note: Artist booths and Water/Soda sales open at 10am. Glassware/Wristband sales begin at 10:30am. Wine\, Spirits\, and Beer service will begin at 11am. Make sure to bring proof-of-age ID. Beverage booths are CASH ONLY sales. \nThe Los Altos Arts & Wine Festival is a great event for the whole family with a large selection of rides\, activities and entertainment for children all weekend in the Kidzone.
