The Seriousness of Purpose a Ling-Yen invitational at the Gualala Art Center
A new, multi-artist exhibit opens in the Elaine Jacob Foyer opens February 10. “The
Seriousness of Purpose” presents the works of Sarah Alice Britton, Jeweler, Ling-Yen Jones,
Jewelry, Richard Kennedy, Sculptor, Ann Langston, Painter and Anthony Rees, Sculptor. The
exhibit will include an opening reception from 4:00 p.m to 6:00 p.m. This exhibit was
inspired in part by the late American writer Madeleine L'Engle (1918–2007) known for, among
other works, 1962’s “A Wrinkle In Time”

The Point Arena Light Station’s Whale Watch Room Gallery exhibit for Spring 2023 will feature the jewelry of Ling-Yen Jones and oil paintings of Chris Grassano. They are both members of Point Arena’s Coast Highway Artists Collective (CHAC) and the Point Arena Lighthouse Keepers, Inc. is thrilled to feature their works.

Belmont Handcrafted Original Art Fair on March 25&26, 2023
arlmont Village Shopping Center brims with activity when the Handcrafted Originals Art Fair arrives in this quaint town. Belmont is nestled on the San Francisco peninsula, 20 miles south of the City and just north of San Carlos. The event is set among the Shopping Center’s charming covered walks and takes place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. More than 20 celebrated artists will be on hand during this free event, giving visitors the opportunity to browse and buy unique, original pieces ranging from paintings, photography, ceramics, jewelry and much more.
